Do I really need an ERP if Tally works fine?

If Tally works fine, you don't. Most of our clients hit a wall around ₹20–30 Cr revenue — Tally runs accounting but can't see your inventory, can't manage your sales pipeline, can't coordinate multi-warehouse movements. If closing books takes 10+ days, if quarterly GST is stressful, if you can't answer "what's in stock right now" in under an hour — those are the signals.

How is this different from hiring Odoo or Frappe directly?

You can absolutely hire Odoo SA or a Frappe freelancer directly. What we bring is a single point of accountability across the whole stack — when your Shopify store needs to sync with your Odoo inventory while triggering a WhatsApp update, that's four systems and four vendors. A complete working module — not a trial, not a partial setup.

Which platform is right for us — Odoo or Frappe?

90% of the time, it comes down to licensing philosophy and customisation depth. Odoo has stronger out-of-the-box modules (especially manufacturing and e-commerce) and a polished UI but charges per user per module. Frappe/ERPNext is free to licence forever, deeply customisable, but the UI is more utilitarian. Under 50 users with standard needs, Odoo often wins. Above 100 users or with heavy customisation, Frappe usually does. We walk through this on the scoping call.

What happens if we need to move off later?

Your data is always yours — exported in standard formats (CSV, SQL dumps) on request, at any time. We provide handover documentation for any future team or vendor. We'd rather lose a client than hold one captive with undocumented customisations.
